These terms apply to all bookings made with Short Stays Holidays. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.

Short Stays Holidays – Terms & Conditions of Hire

1. Booking and Deposit

1.1. A non-refundable deposit of £30.00 is required at the time of booking to secure your dates. 1.2. No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been issued by Short Stays Holidays. 1.3. The deposit is an administrative fee and is strictly non-refundable in the event of a guest cancellation.

2. Payment Terms

2.1. The remaining balance of the holiday must be paid in full no later than 28 days before your arrival date. 2.2. For bookings made within [4] weeks of arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking. 2.3. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your holiday and the loss of your deposit.

3. Property Features and Amenities

3.1. Short Stays Holidays manages multiple units with varying specifications. 3.2. While many of our caravans include features such as Gated Verandas, Free Wi-Fi, and Central Heating, these are not standard across all units. 3.3. It is the Guest’s responsibility to review the specific listing description of their chosen caravan prior to booking. Short Stays Holidays is not liable if a specific feature (e.g., a gated veranda) is not present if it was not explicitly listed for that specific unit.

4. Pet Policy

4.1. "Pet Friendly" status applies only to specific caravans. 4.2. Guests must declare all pets at the time of booking. 4.3. Pets must be well-behaved, must not be left unattended in the caravan at any time, and are strictly forbidden from sitting on beds or upholstery. 4.4. Any damage caused by pets will be charged to the lead guest.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. 5.2. If you cancel more than [28] days before arrival: Any payments made (excluding the £30 non-refundable deposit & Management fee) will be refunded. 5.3. If you cancel less than [28] days before arrival: No refund will be issued. 5.4. We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive holiday insurance to cover cancellations due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Security/Damage Bond

6.1. A refundable security bond of £100.00 may be required. 6.2. This bond will be returned within 3 working days of your departure, provided the caravan is left clean, tidy, and free of damage. 6.3. We reserve the right to withhold all or part of the bond to cover costs for damages, breakages, or professional cleaning if the unit is left in an unsatisfactory state.

7. Occupancy and Park Rules

7.1. Only the persons named on the booking form may occupy the caravan. Overcrowding will result in immediate eviction without refund. 7.2. Guests must abide by the specific site rules of the Holiday Park (e.g., quiet hours, parking restrictions). 7.3. We reserve the right to terminate a booking immediately if a guest’s behaviour is deemed unreasonable or causes a nuisance to other park residents.

8. Liability

8.1. Short Stays Holidays is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by any member of the booking party during their stay. 8.2. In the unlikely event that a caravan becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., maintenance emergency), we will offer an alternative unit or a full refund. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the booking.

9.Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, or utility failures.

10.Entire Agreement

These terms form the entire agreement between you and Short Stays Holidays and replace any previous discussions or agreements.
